As a freelancer since 2009, I have mostly worked on short-form Broadcast TV and Digital specialising in creative sound design and international versioning with clients including Discovery Channel, Thomson Reuters.
Cliff and I founded Spirit Studios, an audio-post facility, in 2006 and as well as management, financial control and maintenance, my sound design and mixing work was for clients including McCann London, RKCR/Y&R, St Luke’s Karmarama and long-form TV programmes such as The Convention Crasher and How to Look Good Naked for Channel 4, Nat. Geo, BBC and Discovery.
From 2004 I engineered at The Sound Company where I recorded Speech Radio including Between Ourselves, A Good Read, Off The Page, Great Lives, Aled Jones, The Commission, Feedback, Write On for clients including BBC, TwoFour Productions, City Broadcasting. Long-form TV work included Bridezillas, Trauma, Life in the ER, Dr G Medical Examiner, Critical Hour for Discovery.
While at Saunders & Gordon from 1990 to 2003, I specialised in Advertising and my major client base was Saatchi & Saatchi, McCann London, Grey London, Leo Burnett, Ogilvy, M&C Saatchi, Disney, JWT working on brands including L’Oreal, B&Q, Kellogg’s, British Airways, National Lottery, Lloyds Bank, Ford, Party Political Broadcasts, British Gas. I also recorded Margaret Thatcher telling The Downing Street Years and Prince Charles voicing The Legend of Loch Nagar.
